I am laying in my bed at home. The door to the balcony on my left is open and it seems hot. There is a small magpie in my room and another bird or animal of some sort. I think the magpie could be a baby but I’m not sure. I think the other animal may have been a cat. They both scramble toward the wardrobe on my right which is open. I panic and move up out of my sheets to try and make the magpie fly out the balcony door. The magpie is bleeding and I can’t see where the other animal has gone. It thrashes in the air in a half attempted flight when it then flies toward me and hits my throat. It lodges its body in the space between my neck and collarbone. I remove its body with my hand and take it to the balcony. This is the last thing I remember before waking up with a bleeding nose and my period. It is 5.36am.
