NOTE: THIS PROGRAM HAS BOOKED OUT

This five-week program is part dream observation, part esoteric reading and part imaginative writing. Participants will keep a dream journal throughout the five-week period. Participants have the opportunity to workshop their dreams with the group in each session, unpacking symbols and narratives as they appear. We will read, view and discuss texts about dreams, including ancient oneirology, cross-cultural dream practices and art. Each workshop will include imaginative writing exercises.

This is an experimental way to observe how our dreams appear and evolve as a group over a set period of time. We will become familiar with each other’s dreamscapes and patterns, which will allow for dynamic comparative study. Understanding dreams as they appear in cultural material will also aid us in meaning making.

Participants must have access to a computer and internet. All resources are provided digitally. A detailed course outline will be provided one week before delivery.

Participants also have the opportunity to seek editorial assistance from Manisha Anjali on two pieces of writing.
