I had a dream where a tiny dog was a conduit to the cosmos. If you asked it a clear, direct question about the universe or the future, it was obliged to answer you. But all of my questions regarded how the dog was going.

‘Are you scared of the traffic noise?’ I asked.

‘YES,’ answered the God-Dog.

‘Would you like me to pick you up?’

‘YES,’ answered the God-Dog.
