I arrive at a campground with friends, strangers, acquaintances. Everyone sets their tents up so close to each other. They are old school ones with the big frames and canvas fabric. My one doesn't seem to have a zip at the bottom, it flutters in the wind and I worry about a cold draft during the night. Someone asks me where the toilets are, 'Oh! Over there!' Then I realise I was the one who invited everyone here, to my most favourite campground, to my most favourite place in the world. But it looks different, the toilets are really far away. No one else is camping here. There is a small hall where we congregate. Our tents are right next to it. I look out the window and someone has gone off in their ute, speeding past us. I shrug it off.
