Anna Jacobson is a writer and artist from Brisbane. Her debut poetry collection 'Amnesia Findings' (UQP, 2019) won the Arts Queensland Thomas Shapcott Poetry Prize.


My eyes are charted by an astronomer.
The bigger my eyes in context to my face,
the more lethargic I will feel. The results
come back — my almond-moon eyes take
up the page. I accidentally forward
my eyes to my friend in an email.
I am too exhausted to care.
