At the time of the dream, my employer had not yet granted us permission to work from home.

My ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend are in a sinking ship, drowning alive even though they are in an airtight hull, a cavernous and open space lined with wood. It reminded me of the house I used to share with him, the house that we fondly called the cabin. The dream was extremely painful and I woke and fell back into it many times, thinking, 'this can't go on'. I finally woke myself up by speaking nonsense aloud, beginning with a dear friend's name. On 3 April, I discussed the pain of the dream with my analyst. Rather than consigning them to death, she said, were you letting them go?
